1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ScaleCad website (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and ScaleCad. References to "you" or "user" include both individual consumers and businesses accessing the Platform.

2. Description of Service

ScaleCad is a curated download platform for the distribution of digital files, including Autodesk Fusion 360 design files (.f3d), Python scripts (.py), and related resources. Some files are provided free of charge; others require payment.

We reserve the right to add, remove, modify, or discontinue any file or feature at any time without prior notice.

3. Licence Grant

Upon downloading a file from this Platform (whether free or paid), you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable Personal & Commercial Use licence. This platform is designed to help independent builders, makers, and small manufacturers access professional design tools. Manufacturing and selling products you create using these files is not just permitted — it is the intended use.

• •You may use the file for personal, educational, commercial, or manufacturing purposes.
• •You may modify the file for your own use.
• •You may manufacture physical objects from the designs and sell those objects to customers, including at commercial scale.
• •You may use scripts and automation files to run commercial production or business workflows.

Specific files may carry additional licence terms listed on their individual product pages. In the event of a conflict, the product-page licence terms take precedence.

4. Prohibited Uses

You must not:

• ✕Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share downloaded files with third parties, whether for free or for payment.
• ✕Upload downloaded files to other marketplaces, file-sharing platforms, or repositories.
• ✕Claim authorship or ownership of files you did not create.
• ✕Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to bulk-download files.
• ✕Attempt to circumvent any technical protection measures or access controls.
• ✕Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.

5. Payments and Purchases

All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the product page. Prices include any applicable VAT where legally required.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. ScaleCad does not store your payment card details. By completing a purchase, you authorise the charge shown at checkout.

Download links for paid content expire 24 hours after the purchase is completed. If your link has expired, please contact support with your order confirmation.

6. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

However, by completing your purchase and requesting immediate access to the digital file download, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you thereby waive your right of withdrawal once the download has commenced, as permitted by Art. 16(m) of the Directive.

If a technical error prevents you from accessing a file you purchased, please contact us — we will make it available again at no additional charge.

7. Intellectual Property

All files available on this Platform, along with the website design, text, graphics, and other content, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by ScaleCad or the respective rights holders.

Downloading a file does not transfer ownership. You receive a licence to use the file as described in Section 3.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Files are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• •Files will be compatible with all versions of Fusion 360 or other software.
• •Files are free from errors, defects, or viruses.
• •Results produced using the files will meet your specific requirements.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ScaleCad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of (or inability to use) the Platform or the files, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or damage to property.

Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant file, or €50, whichever is greater. This limitation does not apply to liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the member state in which ScaleCad is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform for consumers at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution but are happy to try to resolve any issues amicably first.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
